Hi,

I installed the Fox news mobile and Fox business mobile last night.

Are those the same two apps you installed? You referred to different names.

I just removed both apps the business app through the application table.

The other news app deleted by highlighting the icon and selecting delete.

Both icons are removed but I'll wait to see if the alerts continue.

I was looking for a free stock quote lookup, so thanks!

Hi,

Have you completed this as well?

Browse to m.foxbusiness.com, click on get Fox business market alert.

Scroll down past the email address entry field to unsubscribe.

You will be taken to the Blackberry Subscription management page.

ok, i just went to the foxbusiness website as you suggusted and unsubscribed from their news alert.  That seemed like it should take care of the problem.  I will give it a few days and see if anything new shows up.

On a side note, before posting here I had tried going to foxnews.com and unsubscribing from there, but that obviously didn't work.  So it seems I was simply trying to unsubscribe through the wrong website.

Bifocals, your last post regarding unsubscribing from the fox mobile website sucessfully removed the fox news alerts from my phone permanently.  Thanks for the great advice!

Had the same problem but I got it. Go to http://www.foxnews.com/alerts/subscribe.html and go to the bottom of the page to where it says unsubscribe, put in your email address and submit. You should get an email back confirming your request.
