Help - How do I mass delete 25000 emails and SMS?!

Hello

I have just switched from my old BB to 9900. I used BB Desktop Software to Back Up and Restore my contacts beetween the handsets

However I have also carried over ALL my old SMS and email which I did not want to..... Now my BB appears to be working very slowly and keeps freezing. Everytime I get a new SMS the following POP UP appears:

" BlackBerry message memory is full! Please Delete some SMS Messages"

Now I have 8000 odd SMS messages which I would love to delete but cannot find a way of mass deleting. Belive me I do not have time to keep deleting messages individually!

Does anyone know a solution to this issue. I'd imagine it's very basic for some of the people on here but I have no idea where to begin

Appreciate any advice. Thanks in adavance

Thanks SSC

Rockit  - go into your SMS Inbox and scroll all the way to top where the date is written (above your last message).

Hit BlackBerry button

From the Menu choose the Delete Prior Option

That should do it
