I just Downloaded OS 5.0.0.743 from CSL and smarttone Vadofone

after downloading that device software,I install as usuall

But problem occur when I start my Desktop manager (want to upgrade my Bold 9700)

I went to "Application Loader" section then click START button on "Update Software" section

there is notice that "No available update for your device"

That's weird because it works fine when I upgrade my Javelin 8900 to new OS 5.0.0.681

I have checked on "Help" --> "About Blackberry Desktop Manager" --> "Device Software"

I saw my downloaded OS 5.0.0.743 and OS 5.0.0.681 installed

Anyone can help me make my installed device software OS 5.0.0.743 appear on my "Update Software" section

I am the CSL user in Hong Kong. I just updated to the OS 5.0.0.743 an hour ago. Actually, it's not necessary to download the updated. Just plug in your BB to your computer. The Desktop Manger will check the update and do everything for you! It just took me around half hour to finish all the processes! It works fine so far. But, need to register all the 3rd party programs I installed before. Frankly, I can't find what is the big changes of this new OS......!

OR you can try this.

using internet explorer go to www.blackbery.com/update.

click on "check for update" huge button. ( if you dont see it. install active x)

This will update application loader, it will ask you to connect your bb.

then it will check your carrier site for latest software.

Please ensure that you have a back up of your BB prior to performing the steps.
