Hi everyone, my first post. My Blackberry 9000 ring tone is to quiet not loud even on the loud profile setting?

Hi Everyone, I recently joined a company who provided me with the Blackberry 9000 which I am enjoying at work and also privately for playing my favorite songs through the car stereo. However I have a problem the ring tone is not loud enough even on the Loud profile setting. When it is in my pocket it is almost inaudible. How do I make my ring tone louder so I can hear it easily. I have selected ACDC "Long Way to the top" one of my favorite rock songs. My ring tone is not anywhere near the loudness of my fellow team mates in the office (mixed brands of phones). Appreciate any assistance.

Hello greyshadow and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Have you tried playing this song using the Music Player in the Media folder? Does it play loudly through the music play or is it fairly quiet?

If you were to change your ring tone to one of the device default tones, does it play loudly? If not, then I would suggest you reset your Sounds database by clearing it as shown in KB10167 and reconfigure your settings.
