Is it possible to upgrade the OS on my Blackberry so I can utilize a hotspot? I have a Blackberry Bold 9780, with  OS 6.0. Advice would be most appreciated!

No, only devices with OS 7.1 can have Hotspot capability, and the 9780 does not have OS 7.1
