How do I type a £ sign in a text please?

Hi people,

Ive just moved over from a Nokia N95 and thought id try a Blackberry as I dont like touchscreens. Ive gone for Bold 9780, and though I cant yet do anything really quickly on it as I could my N95, I can do almost everything apart from type a pound sign (£). I use this quite a lot and its a bit frustrating as it doesnt appear on the keypad.

Anyone help please ?

Cheers in advance

BS

On your device, go to Options/Settings > Typing and Input > Keyboard > Currency Key and set the English pound symbol there.

Now, on your keyboard, they key to the right of the M key will type the pound symbol rather than the US $ Dollar symbol.
