I have two BB handelds from two different companies. I would like to know if I can transfer the contacts from my Storm BB to the Bold BB without using Desktop Manager.
I can see that 'Transfer Address list' is enabled in the Bluetooth menu, but not for BB devices.
You can transfer them from phone to sim, although only one at a time I think and possibly with the loss of some data (names tend to get shortened for example). Once they're all on switch the sim cards (assuming a Bold card will work in the Storm) and transfer from sim to phone on the other device. It's a very long process (depending on how many contacts you have), and by far the best method is to use DM which means everything gets transferred properly and quickly.
