How to turn shorcut keys off on a Bold

Hi PPL

 

One of my users needs to turn of his home screen short cut keys (so he can dial fromt he home screen).

 

The option is supposed to be under

- send

- menu key

- options

- general options (there is no general options) <---

 

Can anyone assist

What device is being used by the user?

If the device OS is 6.0 and above and you want to turn off shortcut on home screen then go to Homescreen > Options > Lunch by Typing: choose Universal Search.
