I have AT&T with my Blackberry Bold.  Recently, I signed up and got a new Gmail account.  When I try to log in on Google Talk on my BB, it says that the username and password don't match. I've tried reinstalling Google Talk several times and it doesn't solve the problem.  I have two other Google email accounts that I have had for a long time. I am able to use Google Talk with the old accounts but not with a new account. Just wondering why I would be able to log on under two old accounts, but not with the new one?

I have absolutely nothing to offer in the way of help, just a "good luck getting any answers for this one".

I, too, have Google Talk installed on my Bold.  I went to my PC and started an account with Google.  I then took the exact user/pass combo over to my phone when firing up Google Talk and got the same "username and password don't match".  And you can't get any answers from Google because the application is developed by RIM for the BlackBerry phones, so I'm hoping you find something here because this is the only place you'll get anything about it answered (although I also asked many months ago and despite the high level of knowledge in this forum, we're still basically scratching our heads on it).

Here is the solution: go to "http://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha" from your BlackBerry (use BB browser) and follow instructions. You'll need to enter your username/password and the verification code. After that, launch Google Talk and it should work perfectly!
