I can't get my PC to recognize my phone.

Hello all, I just got my BB  Bold today and I installed the v4.7 desktop software and I cannot get it to sync to my PC. It will not recognize the the connection. I'm running Windows XP service pack 3 any ideas?

Turn your antivirus off. In some cases it can be the reason.

 

Uninstall BB Desktop.

Restart your computer

Install BB Desktop again.

 

If BB Desktop 4.7 does not work properly - install BB Desktop 4.6.

Do not forget to restart your computer just after you uninstall BB Desktop software. It is necessary to free system files which can be locked by Windows.
