Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
Now after reboot, do you see what was missing?

Thank you for your help!
I did do the reboot which I had done before, but no luck. I have all of my icons the only thing not showing is the top bar with battery life, wi-fi network and coverage bars at the top.
Thank you for your help.

There was another user JUST THIS WEEK with the same problem, he solved it, and I am trying to find that post.
Hang tight. Might take a bit to search back.

I figured out the problem. The new installation of BlackBerry Protect caused the time and date and other upper icons to disappear. I since have deleted the app and everything has been restored.
Thank you for looking into this.

Yes! That was it. I don't know why that happens to a few users, it shouldn't of course.
Oh well, good luck.
