Images in email -- setting?

I have searched in vain to discover what I am doing wrong with my settings. The email I receive is coming in without most images, or at least the complex ones (like photos). I have been unable to find a setting which allows me to get this content. Any suggestions?

Re: Images in email -- setting?

Messages folder > Menu > Options > Email Settings > Enable HTML Email = Yes

and Download Images Automatically = Yes

Good luck.

Re: Images in email -- setting?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did previously try this without success. I will do it again to make sure it "sticks" and see how it goes.

Re: Images in email -- setting?

Are you on BES? I believe the BES version must be 4.1.6 for HTML.

Re: Images in email -- setting?

I am BES, but they do have the correct version up for HTML. I suspect this will be cured later. My wife's IPhone natively imports the images using the same 3G network, which made me wonder why my new Bold was not up to speed. I will wait and see what happens.

Re: Images in email -- setting?

Then you should be receiving HTML mail then.

Good luck.

Re: Images in email -- setting?

Having the same issue with my phone.  I have it set to receive automatically, but I still don't get the images unless I, from within the email, select "get images".  I then have to close the email and reopen to see the images.

Re: Images in email -- setting?

I know this is a dumb question, but what is BES?

Yes, that is the way it works. You must select "get images" in th email.
