Is a recovery possible after retyping 3 times the worng passwort

There is a app or a setting possibility in the blackberry, which allows only to log in after a passwort.
The password is typed in 3 times wong. An erase is done on the phone.

Is there any chance to do a recovery?
Are also the sim card erased?

No backup is done.
Mainly the phone numbers are important.

Is it possible to send the phone to an expert?

Please Help.
A young girl uses the handy. I am only the oncle who don't know anything about BlackBerrys.

Re: Is a recovery possible after retyping 3 times the worng passwort

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

The user has control over the device lock password, including the number of attempts before the WIPE happens. But, once that happens, there is no on-device recovery for anything...only restore from a backup (which you state does not exist) can recovery anything. BBs are very secure, and this is one of those security features.

Good luck!
