HI there.

I have downloaded the latest BB OS Software 7.1 via over the air on my BB 9790 and have noticed that the whole software download was a success but some of the the programs were not downloaded / installed onto the bb like - the mobile hotspot, FM Radio, Blackberry Tag and mobile media player rest of the programs were downloaded onto the BB.

Could you pls advise.

The desktop software could not detect any updates and this is why i had to update the BB via over the air update.

The features you mentioned are dependant upon your carrier supporting them.  Not all carriers support them and therefore not all carriers put them in their version of OS 7.1.

However, the FM radio app is only available on one model of phone.  I'm not sure which one it is but the 9790 is not it.

If you wish to take advantage of all features associated with OS 7.1, you'll have to download a version from a carrier that supports them.  Keep in mind that if you do, you could incur charges above and beyond your current ones if the features you use are not part of your monthly data package with your carrier.
