Issues with Device Version 7.1.0.746 on Bold 9900

I have upgraded my device to version 7.1.0.746 for BlackBerry 9900 on the Rogers Network.

I note the following since the install;

Everytime I edit a contact or add a new one and "save", the phone freezes for a good minute;

The phone freezes when closing apps. The problem is more noticeable with Twitter, Rogers Visual VoiceMail app and when browsing certain websites.

I am having to re-boot 3-5 times a day. The phone just freezes and becomes unuseable.

Before this update I rarely "needed" a battery pull.

Any suggestions or known issues?

How long since you did the update?

Freezing has been a problem with many of the devices. It's worse for some than others, though. I get the same thing on my Torch occasionally, too. The only thing I can recommend is reverting back to the OS you had previously.

Thank you. I was ready to go back to earlier version (phone operated fantastic) and knowing now that has been an issue with many devices has solidified my decision.
