JVM error 528

My Bold 9930 is less than 6 months old, always has had a habit of rebooting right in the middle of me composing an e-mail or placing a call (right when I push the send button). This has been becoming more frequent (several times a day) Today it gave me a message JVM ERROR 528, then rebooted, but, this time, it did a hard re-boot, completely dumping all contents including contact info, calendar, etc...

Not to worry, " just restore from your Blackberry desktop manager" you say? NO! It will not do so. The phone will power up and dial out now, won't receive most incoming calls, no incoming texts, no incoming e-mails. In attempt to restore from desktop to phone I get a message on the computer "Blackberry desktop manager has stopped working" "A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Pretty good story if you are someone other than me.
