Jawbone ERA continuously disconnects and reconnects on Bold 9790

I thought my problem was a battery enhancer app, so I installed it.  That didn't fix it.  I used to connect my Jawbone to my Curve 8900 with no problems.  I was having a problem with an older Jawbone ( the IKON) and so purchased the ERA.  They both behave the same way on my Bold.

I didn't fix it.  I had to return the ERA.
