Keeps asking me to validate my email

At least twice a day blackberry send me an email asking me to validate one of my email addresses.  This is a school email and my other email is a g-mail account which has been completely fine.  I recently had to get a replacement phone because the software update screwed up my other one.  I had no problems with any of my email accounts on my previous blackberry bold.  Now, blackberry send me an email at least twice a day prompting me to validate my school email account.  Not only that, it takes a least several times for it to go through, meaning I will type the correct password and it will still say it is incorrect, however after numerous tries it eventually goes through.  Does anyone have any suggestions or remedies for this problem?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):

1) Register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
  • Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app

2) Delete and Resend Service Books

  • KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you have no CMIME entry, then skip the deletion
  • KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

3) Batt Pull Reboot

  • Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your BIS configuration for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

I like to share same problem I had, maybe different circumstances. I never had this email credential update using another phone before. The fact that my email received just fine made me ignore the notification in the hub. But it happen a few to often that made me to look up on the net. As I search net, I clicked the notification. It explain that my email is created on my desktop. It then asked me to delete or to (I don't remember the other one). I clicked the delete option, of course it doesn't show right away. I checked the account in the setting, previously there's an email and bblink. After I clicked the delete option, my bblink is gone. And I remember that I uninstalled bblink so I think the notification reminder is to tell me that it cannot access the bblink on my computer. Wish it was plain simple to just tell me that I uninstalled the bblink and any email is not pushed to my desktop. The reason I uninstalled bblink is because my network felt a little lag, sometimes not respond to network. Hope you do find the cause of your problem. Have a nice day.
