Hi All,

I currently have a BB Bold 9000 and it seems to delete / remove emails from the device after a short time. I have done some research on the issue and found most people are saying its a memory issue.

I have enabled Memory Cleaning and submitted 2 emails to myself and they still disappeared.The device is running on BIS.

Under Options>Status

it is only reporting 23473404 Bytes free which is 20Mb or so

Under Options>Memory

Application Memory is 22.3Mb Free

Device Memory is 768Mb free of 859Mb

There is no SD card installed in the device, i cannot understand why these are been removed. I have checked the Outlook client and Mail is fine on this, nothing is removed.

Mail is to be kept for 30days, is there something that i have missed?

What type of email integration are you using? (Ex. POP, IMAP, OWA) Also do you move your messages from the inbox on your computer?

If so go to Messages, press the Menu Key> Options> Email Reconciliation. In here change the Wireless Reconcile to off and test.

Always remember to do a soft reset

With your Blackberry switched on, remove the battery for 5 minutes then return it back
