I do at least twice a week but the emails lost are all from today, important ones.... sadly.  Thank you for all your help.

ok, this is still very strange. There is something additional going on here, that only the emails from today were deleted, and they were deleted from your server as well... and that you are now using Outlook.

With some of the new IMAP sever settings, if you delete an email from Outlook (and it were to be also deleted from the mail server), the IMAP account would also delete the message from the BlackBerry.

So, I don't know if this is what happened.. but it makes me curious. You did say you only started using Outlook two days ago?

Yep only started using outlook for the mail properly two days ago, it was configured before but not really used until two days ago,

I think we might discover some sort of situation as I described... you deleted any emails from from Outlook before your settings were properly configured , I am guessing.
