Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
Have you already tried removing any unused languages and applications? This KB article should help you maximize your available memory. "How to maximize battery life and free memory on the BlackBerry smartphone" http://bbry.lv/GHUfiB
I would also suggest closing any 3rd party applications that are running in the background. You can see what applications are running by holding down your Menu key.
Hope this helps.

Can you please verify how much free memory is currently available on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9000 smartphone? This KB article will help you check. "How to check the amount of free space available on a BlackBerry smartphone" http://bbry.lv/GEwpRC

Ideally a minimum of 10 - 12 MB of free memory should be available for optimum performance. If none of the steps in KB14320 have increased available memory, you may want to try doing a clean reload of your device software to rule out any possible software issue as the cause. Please try to back up your data using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software and perform the steps in one of the following KB articles.
For Windows®: "How to perform a clean reload of the BlackBerry Device Software for Windows" http://bbry.lv/GI9beY
For Mac: "Perform a clean reload of BlackBerry smartphone application software using BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer" http://bbry.lv/J0UN1U
Please do a selective restore of essential data only, such as calendar and contacts, as shown in this KB article: "How to use BlackBerry Desktop Software to restore data to a BlackBerry smartphone from a backup file" http://bbry.lv/KHQdEb
Hope this helps.
