Menu/application shortcut help

am having a problem that shows all my application has a shortcut button for example when i press O it opens the Options and When i press X it opens MSN Messenger and it shows on the menu is Windows Live Messenger (X)

 Phone, Options, Dial from home screen, set to yes.
