Hello,
I have created with the DM a backup of my phone for testing proposal.
After finishing the tests I want to use the backup and noticed that there are text messages missing.
In general I can say, that there are less messages missing when I delete first all text messages.
But how can that be? I thought the whole database is replaced with the saved one.
I am using 7.1.0.569, but I have recognized that problem with the 9000 and 9300, too.

Okay another some test runnings:
I restored some messages and compared the count. Messages are like expected missing.
The device was rebooted with alt + shift + delete. After that I made another backup from the sms messages.
I started the restore again and there are missing again messages.
Some research brought up that the system uses the synchronization api (http://us.blackberry.com/devjournals/resources/jou
I think there should be done some improvements to fix the issue.

Why runs the memory low, when the device has nothing only the core modules installed?
No Wifi or radio connected and over 200 mb application free (checked unter options -> storage).
