Mobile Network not switching on, New BB user; PLS help.. :'(

Hey guys, my Blackberry Bold 9650 is not connnecting to my mobile network. I tried to click on the mobile network (that little box, with the green check; currently with no check mark) but after the check mark  comes, it automatically gets removed and turns grey.. pls help guys.. could it be that cause of my battery being low, it switched of the mobile network automatically? If so, how can i remove that?

Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.

 

I would suggest re-inserting the battery and then allow the battery to charge for about 1 hour and then try re-enabling the mobile network connection.
