My Blackberry Identity

Hello... Anybody help me ?   I set up phone ok about month ago and receive emails ok through Blackberry but since updating the Blackberry App software my Identity has been blocked, Now I still get my e.mails and things I had already set up but I cannot buy any new apps and if I try to update any settings (like adding a new e.mail address) which need my blackberry password I cannot access them.  I have reset the password and still the same problem, Vodafone told me that it was a software bug on my phone that would be sorted out by a software upgrade....  that sounds a bit vague.. so I really don't know what to do.   It is not telling me the password is locked because of too many failed attempts...    when I do anything that need verification of Blackberry id I just get "Unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account...  by going online I have been able to reset it through my pc etc and i get different message if I deliberately type the password wrong...

 

anybody got any ideas ?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

 

Now, try your BlackBerryID again.

reboot didn't resolve - I am tempted to try the security cleardown but I am afraid that if I do that my Blackberry ID will still be tied to this handset and I will never be able to even set up the facilities I already have...

hie im also havingthe same problem with my 9300 gemini curve ive tried all the reboot ways but stl\ill its not working please help? did yoursd  end up working
