Hi
My blackberry device dies suddenly even when its fully charged. It closes and then I need to plug it and charge it so it opens.
I don't use unusual applications
I just use ( whatsapp, blackberry messenger and browser), when pressing the bb icon, I don't have other opening programs
I started to have this problem when I came to UK from my country (Oman). I did change my battery with my friend before I came.
I bought another two batteries and try them in order to solve this problem but this didn't work.
Its now approximately 3 months since I came to UK.
Hope you can help me because I'm really tired it closes everyday although I charge it every night.
Thanks,,

What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > Device > About, third line down beginning with a "v.6.0.x.xxx", or v.5.x.x.xxx", What is yours?

I would suggest wiping your device completely and reloading the OS.
You will need to use BBSAK or JL_Cmder to wipe the device and subsequently load the OS to the device. Follow the instructions here:
http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/How_do_I_wi
For BBSAK, here is the link: http://bbsak.org/

I am having the exact same problem. It started after I updated to the most recent OS last week. One second the battery is full and then I get the "Battery is too low for radio use" Sometimes the battery icon doesn't show that it's almost dead. When I plug it in to charge it goes back to full battery within mintues. It's getting REALLY frusrtrating!

Sorry but the first link is not working. Do you mean I have to change the software of my phone? do I have to backup my bb messenger list, contacts and everything in my memory card?
That link is working for me.
You don't have to change the software on your phone, you can reload the same you have now.
Yes you should ALWAYS back up your device weekly and before any major software upgrades.
Do this first though:
Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the charging cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. Do this again 2x in the next couple of days.
It could be your on-device battery meter is not agreeing with your actual battery charge level, and doing the above should help regulate the on-device meter.

I updated to the newest 7.1 bundle 2123 (v7.1.0.755) from an older 7.1 version.

I will try your suggestion of removing the battery while device is still charging. I hope it works. I'll get back to you in a couple of days.
Thank you!
