My Bold 9900 is running really slowly I think the memory is full due to large files what can I do?

My Bold 9900 which is only about 4 months old has started perforning tasks really slowly and takes a while to do anything now, I think a message appeared about memory full, but I didnt stay on the screen long enough to understand what to do and now I can't find it again,  any ideas?

If your 9900 is on OS system 7.1
Try this.
Options>Device> Advanced System Settings>Blackberry Device Analyzer>Issues with Device Responsiveness

In addition to Teaboy1748's suggestion, make sure you're doing regular battery pulls.  Your phone is going to get bogged down with a lot of clutter as time goes by.  By doing regular battery pulls (I suggest doing one a week), you'll keep your phone in top shape.

To do a proper battery pull, remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it.

Hi its not the battery that is fine.  The memory is slowing it down or it has become been infected somehow!

What billJ mention for you to do is to with the battery pull, A battery pull is like a hard reset for the phone, it will help gain leaked memory back.
