Hi There,

I know this is a common problem but I can't find a solution in your forums.

 

I was attempting to back up my BB to my PC. My PC wouldn't recognize my blackberry password. I tried to dicsonnect my BB so that I could reset my passowrd count, but now my phone deosn't recognize my password. I'm not forgetting it and I've tried both alpha and numeric combinations.

 

Is there an way to reset a PW without the data being lost? I'm at 9/10.

I don't know the model of phone, but I once saw a phone with a defective keypad, and thus the password could not be properly entered.

 

It is important you use a simple to type password.

 

You may have to rebuild the phone. If your backup was passworded it will not allow you to restore it if you cannot enter a valid password.
