NO email set up!!

I have a BB bold 9780. It keeps saying I have no messaging system configured. I have always had an internet account set up on my phone since day one. Even though all of a sudden it says I don't I can still receive and view emails sent to that account. However, I can not reply and that is when I get a message saying no configuration and it automatically takes me to set up which either freezes my entire phone or has the black clock and then backs out to the main screen.

How can I fix this to get my email working correctly?

Backup your data and perform a Security Wipe of you device as shown here:

If you continue to have the same issue, you may want to contact your wireless service provider for further assistance.

Thank you. I have tried that before so I will take your advice and call; it seems like the last solution.
