Name cache in address book disappearing

Hello,

I have a problem with a user who has lots of contacts. When he first turn the Bold on the names cache works fine and the name autocompletes. Afther a couple of days of usage it doesn't work any more. I suspected it was a memory problem and I asked the user to put the battery off and on again but the problem reappears after a couple of days.

Have someone else had this problem?

If this is a memory problem, what is the best way to solve it?

Thanks a lot and best regards,

Alfonso Hidalgo

Re: Name cache in address book disappearing

Its most likely not a memory problem, although to check that go settings/options/status and read the file free to determine that. Sounds he just needs to scroll to other objects, as the auto complete will usually generate a list of what it could be.

Re: Name cache in address book disappearing

Hello,

No, it is not a scroll problem. When it works it search in the address book and when the cache is "disabled" it does nothing.
