Negative value from GPS altitude in BB 9000

I'm experiencing the same problem reported for some 8300 series devices. The GPS on my 9000 (Bold) device work fine, except for the ALTITUDE value that returns. It is alway a negative value (below sea level), indicating that you are going up when you really are going down and viceversa. The same behaviour happens with all applications that use the GPS.

 

Any solutions?
