New Phones

Dear Sirs,

At the moment I have Blackberry Curve 8900, and I want to buy a new one. The phone I want, must be a type or type/touch, not touch alone. I have been visiting the website, and I am noticing that the Blackberry Bold 9900/9930 are the latest ones, however the 9900 has been released in 2011 and the 9930 in 2010. I was hoping that in the year 2012 a new phone comes out. Can you please tell me, considering my preferences, if there is a new phone coming out in the near future?

Regards,
Amanda

Re: New Phones

Hi AmandaCharmed

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums

Its really nice to see your preferences :smileyhappy: BlackBerry Bold 9900 is one of the best device that RIM has delivered to their fans . But if you can wait a few months then you can be a pround owner of BlackBerry 10 , which is supposed to come within a few months.

So I prefer if you can wait a month or two then go for BlackBerry 10 .:smileywink:

Thanks for your quick reply :smileyhappy:

Regarding Blackberry 10, I thought it is just touch, no?

Re: New Phones

Hi AmandaCharmed

Yes initial models are Touch but later models will have physical keyboard that I have heard everywhere. But BlackBerry 10 full touchscreen will be much different its going to rock everywhere,I think you should have a try before going for BlackBerry Bold 9900 .

Cheers!

Re: New Phones

It could be March/April 2013 or so before the keyboard/touch model is released.

Meanwhile if you must upgrade sooner, the 9900 is a great model, as well as the 9790, with both touch and type
