Hello Peeps... brand new to BB...so apologies for waht might appear to be stupid questions! I've put the "Theme" picture on my front screen of my brand new BOLD...but now all of my icons are white only - no colour!

Any ideas how to make them pretty colours again please?

Change Themes at Options > Themes, or download new themes.

thanks for your response... I have done that and changed the theme (and now got a pretty picture) - however... all of my icons go white and dont show colours. I'm trying to get the pretty picture ... AND coloured icons...if that's possible?

And, that is theme controlled. You need a theme with pretty colored icons.

I believe there are 2 pre-loaded themes: Precision Silver & Precision Zen. Choosing the latter will display coloured icons.

I suspect that BazzaB has the same issue as me, namely that Zen has been hijacked by the operator.  I have yet to find a good solution (ie Zen with the proper background instead of a tacky logo).

Change your wallpaper to another picture, i.e., no tacky logo.

Hi, im having the opposite problem....i have just updated my software on my bb 8900 and now my icons are in colour and i want them to be white- the two pre-set themes that i have both have coloured icons...is there any way i can switch back to white icons?

Also, the new software has made my txt messages appear like a conversation (like msn)...is there any way of switching this back to the normal texting style?

Another question- when i press my lock button on the top left of my phone the screen goes blank and locks but is there a way i can get it to lock but with the screen still appearing and not going completely black (giving me stress every time as i panick my phone had died..).

Any help here would be amazing thanks!
