I am having the same issue. Is your provider AT&T? If so, they are currently experiencing network issues with email since 1am, 1/1/09. Hopefully they will resolve the issue soon. You can also perform a diagnostic on your phone to verify that your email is not connected.
Options> Mobile Network> Menu key> Diagnostic test> Trackball> Menu key> Run> Trackball.
Try it.

Thanks for the message, My provider is VODAFONE now it is ZAIN Bahrain. However I did the test as advised by you where it is showing NO to my emails which are configured rest all is fine, also to my surprise I have received a email from Blackberry about device registration as email on my device. Still the email problem is not solved, should I take this service providers customer care or any other settings issues are with my phone.
Many thanks once again for your prompt reply.
Cheers

Hi Renni and welcome to the forum.
Question, are you under BES (exchange server) or BIS (with the carrier only)?
