Hi

With google removing the "sync with Blackberry" option from Google calendar, does any one know of an online calendar that will sync with my Blackberry. Google was great - I don't understand why it is no longer supported....

You can still synchronize Google calendars with Google Mail on the BlackBerry smartphone.  Follow the steps in this KB article to setup the wireless calendar synchronization: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB24204

My Bold 9700 stopped syncing with Google Calendar just before Christmas. I've reset it as above using KB24204 and done a reboot but it still won't sync. Google email is still syncing without problems.

Thanks for the quick reply pontcanna.  

Everything is setup properly.  I would suggest perform a forced gmail synchronization.  Follow the steps below:

Calendar

1. Click the BlackBerry menu key > Options > under Accounts click the Gmail account > remove the Checkmark from Wireless Synchronization > click the Back menu key and Save
2. Under Accounts click the Gmail account > place a Checkmark in the Wireless Synchronization   box > click the Back menu key and Save

Note: The following prompt will appear " Some of your calendar changes might be lost. Enable wireless Calendar?" Yes or No. Click Yes

Also you should be aware of the following:

By design calendar entries made from the BlackBerry smartphone are synchronized to the web-based calendar within seconds. For entries created on the web-based calendar, it can take up to half an hour for the appointment to appear on the BlackBerry smartphone.

I followed your instructions, but when I re-check the Wireless Sync box and save I don't get a prompt. I had already tried going through that process but to no avail.
