Before you start..I HAVE searched for this info.  I have read a lot of threads but none specific to my inquiry  :-)

I can see the attachments..I even have the Open and Download options on my menu.

I am on BES because my company is too cheap to buty the correct servers for Corporate email.

So what happens is I test by sending attachments to myself and they open correctly (for the most part).  When I try and open attachments from others..no such luck!  I get the message "Cannot receive more" and the dreaded red x appears.

Based on some other threads I searched for  "BlackBerry Attachment Service" and cannot find it anywhere others suggest.

Is there a size limitation to attachments (assuming I have sufficient space in my 16GB Media card )?

Any thoughts on this?

Since you say you are on BES, your course of investigation is actually with your BES admins, I would think.

If, on the other hand, you did not mean to say that you are on BES, can you provide some more information about how your email is integrated? Is it BIS? If so, is it integrated to a standard email system (e.g., GMail, Yahoo, etc.) or something more specialized? Or are you running Desktop Redirector? Some details about how this email account is integrated into your BB will help us to help you.
