Opera Mini & 9700 Bold/IMPORTANT!

Finally figured out how to download the browser; you have to turn OFF your WI-FI, & go to 3G; besides changing your TCP/IP, to wap.voicestream.com. Love my Opera Mini; mobile pages are bright & vivid on the 9700; hated Bolt; wouldn't switch to mobile view, no matter how many times I tried. After downloading, you can return to WI-iFi no problem. I guess it was something internally, that the phone was recognizing; plus now, don't need to download, Amazon, Ebay, etc., because they're much clearer in my Opera browser. Haven't tried Opera 5 yet; 4 seems to work perfectly!:manhappy:

Re: Opera Mini & 9700 Bold/IMPORTANT!

Thanks cpr.  I will be getting my 9700 (my first BB) in a couple of weeks and was concerned about Bolt being adequate for me.  I knew that Opera Mini was out there but was not sure what it *really* looked like!  Opera's development team is awesome and I look forward to making "5" even in beta the first item added to my new phone!  :smileyhappy:

Thanks so much for your note!
