I have used the set-up and then it requested for e-mail password validation which i typed in my new password but it keeps requesting for username, which i type in and then the password but it's still not accessible. Kindly advise.

I went to set-up and clicked on the e-mail feature to be set-up but it says "The email set-up application is temporarily unavailabe. Try again later.

Try rebooting the device (powered on, remove the battery for a minute and replace to reboot) and try that again.
