I just got a blackberry Bold 9780 from T-Mobile but can not setup my personal email. When I choose Email account option on Setup, it shows "Your device had a problem connecting to the server". Please advice how to solve this problem?

Yes this is a known issue and there is three service books you need to delete to get this issue corrected. Unfortunately I forgot the three that needs to be deleted but I believe the word click is in the word. Now to find out which service books you have you need to go to options/device/advanced system setting/service book. If you find the ones that have click in there just highlight them and hit the menu key and delete. Once you have deleted the three hit back once and choose host routing table. Then the menu key and register. That will push all the correct service books to your device. There is another way to delete those service books as well but that would require a computer with desktop software.

Here are the steps, in order (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
3) Batt Pull Reboot
