I recently had to add my corporate email to my personal blackberry. Now I am unable to get my personal email. I have talked with Verizon wireless, my carrier and they can't seem to figure out what is going on with it.

If the corporate email is using a BlackBerry® Enterprise Server then I suspect an IT policy has been pushed down to your device which is blocking your ability to use personal email.
Have a look at this blog post to see how to check for an IT policy.
If you are seeing an IT policy then you will want to contact your companies IT department to see what options you have.
