In most electronic devices, charging will stop if it detects the battery is above normal temperatures, for safety. I imagine the BB has this safeguard as well.

Sure I understand your concern, it's usually hot where you and I are from. Never experienced your problem though, I'm really wondering if you're charging it in a sauna, ha ha.
