My Bold works correctly with all function, i can receive email (with BIS service) and navigate, but when i try to open Maps there's an error like "you haven't BIS or BES service" and Maps function doesn't work.
Contact your Carrier about this matter, if you have a data plan, for sure you can use the blackberry maps.
