i am so sad to say that i am facing a very bad experience from BOLD 9900 , i purchased this mobile from Dubai on MAY-2012 , now after receiving or making few calls , my mobile is becomes silent, if any new calls coming i cant able to hear the ringtons also if i am making an out going call i cant hear the ringing volume or voice (the calls are going and the other party is attending the calls and loosing my money but i cant hear their voices) , so normally i used to remove my battery and fixing it again for making new calls(i am using an IDEA connection in India) . i really dont know what to do with this situation, i cant understand where the real problem is , its very bad bad experience, can some one suggest a solution for this? please.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

It sounds like there may be some app that is somehow causing this...or perhaps there is a defect in the OS level you are using. In either case, you could attempt this process to root out the actual cause.

1. Load your OS "bare bones"...if anything is optional, do not install it.
2. If the behavior presents immediately, then try a different OS with step 1
3. If the behavior does not immediately present, then run for as long as it takes for you to be sure that the behavior will not present.
4. Add one thing -- no matter how tempting, just one.
5. If the behavior does not present immediately, then again run for long enough to be sure it will not have the same problem
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are loaded or the behavior presents

When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.

If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.
