I used the RESTORE option from my back up, the software restored everything EXCEPT my Contact list.

I also tried to restore specific items.... the option to restore contacts does not allow me to tick it for restoration.

I have a Bold 9700, abt 2.5 yrs old. Due to some glitch the complete contacts list is in the back-up, my google sync has only half !!

Any suggestions please

Try disabling your Google Contact sync and then performing the restore.

In the article, where it instructs to enable, you will disable.

It worked.........

I deleted my gmail account and re-set it on the BB, then asked it to sync contacts.... I presume this process takes some time as the list was not in my gmail account.
