SD Card Slot not working anymore

Hi

 

Randomly my SD card slot in my bold 9900 decided not to work anymore ..

i did an OS update after that .. but the slot is still not working

 

what can i do?

Is it the sd card slot not working or is the actual media card inserted bad?

Can you insert a different SD card in slot?

Or, format the current card in the slot?

i think it is the slot

 

tried 3 different sd cards in 2 phones and 1 notebook

- all cards could be read in the notebook and the other phone

- none was detected in the bb9900

i have the same problem with my phone. the card works on other devices and no working card works on my device. sad but true, blackberry need to get its act together. cant live with it, cant do without it.
