SIM full message

For some reason my BOLD 9780 started to display the following message when recieving a text message:

SIM card is full!

Please delete some SMS messages.

After deleting MANY messages and checking memory status I understood it its an error system message. I still have avout 2GB free on my card and over 250MB free system memory.

I still get the messages, just anoyed by the message...

Any suggestions?

Thanks, ya all

Your SIM card is not the device memory nor the Media card... each is different.

Please read this for a resolution:

Article ID: KB13465 "SIM card is full please delete SMS messages" appears on the BlackBerry smartphone

Re: SIM full message

In OS 6 the process is a LITTLE different, but I got to the point and started deleting the SIMs content.

MANY thanks!
