Hi,
I'm having an issue with my SMS messages and how long they stay on the device. My messages are only stay for 5 days but I have the "Keep Messages" option set for 30 days. My email messages are staying on there for that long but not my SMS messages. How can I change this to keep my SMS messages for longer?
On another note, how can I fix my MMS messages? Ever since I had my curve, I've never been able to send MMS messages but I've been able to recieve them. Is there any fix for this as well?
Thank you!

For the MMS, who is your carrier?
For the lost SMS messages, what is your File Free at Options > Status?

For ATT, you need a Service Book for MMS messages. Look at Options > Advanced > Service Books. Scroll and look for two service books for MMS, one [client] and one [transport]. Do you have them both?
If not, you can login to your ATT BIS site and Send Service Books.

For the lost messages, 25MB file free is more than adequate, but i would suggest: with the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot. See if you continue to lose the messages.

I have both service books for the MMS messages and both are active.
For the battery reboot, I tried it so we'll see what happens but I did have to reboot it that way last night for a different reason and I lost messages since that reboot. Also, I just realized that the device is keeping the MMS messages I have recieved for as long as the keep messages option is set to.
