When I receive SMS it shows the date/time I RECEIVED it but NOT the date/time someone SENT it to me. Is there any way of showing this?

When I turn my phone on in the morning, or have been out of a signal & the come into range (happens often where I live), I then cannot tell when it was sent.

I've searched the forums but did not see this posted anywhere so apologies if it has been already.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no way to do that on a BB. The time will always be the time it was received on your BB. You eventually get used to it.

But why though?  Even antiquated NOKIA phones have advanced message properties and sensibly display the time the message was sent rather than the time you last got back into network coverage / rebooted your phone and downloaded waiting messages?  Surely RIM could not have been so daft??
