I upgraded my BB9700 to OS 6 recently.
Not sure if anyone's facing the same problem as mine, but my old SMS (text messages) auto turned into blank drafts. Anyone know the reason why? Almost all my old messages are now missing ![]()
HELP PLEASE?

Hello Farrahri and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Did you back up your BlackBerry prior to doing the update? If so, clear the SMS database (KB10167) and restore the SMS database from your back up file (KB23680) and do a reboot by doing a battery pull.
Do new SMS messages react the same way? What about old emails?

Hello fbogy123 and mr_mohq,
As posted above, have you both backed up your device and cleared the SMS database?
If not, you can follow KB10167 to clear the database and monitor SMS messages to see if this will reoccur.
Let me know how you make out.
Thanks!

Hi,
I have recently updated bb9700 from OS 5 to OS6 and all my msgs has been transformed to blank draft messages, i did not back up my data but before the update it asked me to backup and it did the back up it self.
Also restored Back Up upon completion.
What Should i do now?
Where did it back up the data because i dont see any backup filein backup folder.
