Security lock out time reoccurring despite resetting password

I unfortunately forgot my password and exceeded the number of set attempts to log into my blackberry ID on my handset. Having reset my password online through resetting the password and after successfully entering the correct recovery answer, I keep getting locked out for the set period of 15 minutes on my handset despite putting in the correct password. What should I do as I cannot access my handset and desperately need to get into my phone.
